ChargedEV can install any combination of EVSE to suit any workplace charging requirements.
We work with our customers to curate the perfect combination to meet all budgets, features and aesthetical requirements as well as practicality for your site. All requirements are taken into consideration regarding charger location, ancillary protection and charging requirements.
We understand that workplace charging will need to suit the needs of many different companies, so we ensure that installations can fit the requirements of any business – therefore we allow any choice of chargepoint ranging from 7kW to 40kW and above.
We will work with the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) to ensure the site’s capacity is suitable, if not then upgraded, to meet the customer’s requirements.
There may be an additional need to have a multitude of different rates of charge and we can customise the installation to ensure this is met, too.
OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme
Reduce the cost of workplace charging by up to £14,000
The OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) grant enables any business to receive a £350 grant per socket to install EV charging infrastructure at workplaces for staff and fleet vehicle use.
The grant is awarded to the business, however claimed by us, your OZEV approved installation company. The grant can be claimed against a maximum of 40 sockets.
- Can be claimed by any business, charity or public authority (you can’t back-claim for existing chargepoints).
- You must have off street parking & be able to outline a business need for electric vehicle chargepoints.
- You must apply for a digital voucher and present it to ChargedEV.
Where is the grant scheme available?
The grant scheme is available in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, but is not available in the Channel Islands, Isle of Man or crown dependencies.
Can I complete an installation and then make an application for a voucher?
No. The date of installation must not precede the date the voucher is issued.
I have applied to the grant scheme in the past and successfully had chargepoints installed. Can I apply for the grant again?
Yes. You can now apply to have additional vouchers until you exceed the limit of 20 chargepoint sockets per company, as long as you still meet eligibility requirements.
What shall I do in order to get a voucher to install a chargepoint?
You will need to complete the application process online, available here, providing information about your business, the desired number of sockets you would like to install, and de minimis declaration (if applies). Previous paper forms are not accepted and the online portal is the only way through which you are able to send your application. If you are eligible, you will be issued a voucher code on screen and receive a confirmation email. Please note that the generation of the voucher may take up to 5 working days.
Is there a limit on the number of chargepoints I can claim for?
Yes. The WCS grant is limited to the installation of 40 chargepoints sockets for each applicant. You can deploy them in how many sites you want, which means that if you would like to have them on 40 sites, you will have 1 socket available per site. If you apply for less than 40 sockets, you are allowed to submit additional applications in the future until reaching that limit.
