2013
Our founder, Mark Pymm, formed nuWorld Energy with the aim of delivering simple EV chargepoint installations in the UK.
2014
nuWorld Energy became Rolec’s only Nationwide Installation Partner.

2015
nuWorld Energy rebranded as ChargedEV, moved to bigger offices and recruited our first employed installers.
2016
ChargedEV installed 2700 chargepoints in 2016 alone, making us the 3rd largest installer in the UK.

In 2017, ChargedEV were acquired by OVO Energy which secured the deal to be Chargemasters only installation partner.
2018
Secure installation agreements with Close Brothers, Auto Windscreens and more major UK corporates.

We launched the Smart+ EVSE, the UK’s first grid smart EVSE and installed the UK’s first mass V2G project
2020
ChargedEV regain independence following change in strategic direction by OVO

ChargedEV joined the Redde Northgate Group to accelerate the mission to become the UK’s largest EV charging service provider
